Google Maps for Liberty City
IGN and Google have mapped Liberty City, featured in the just-released GTA4. Places of interested are already cropping up, thanks to the community. This is just another reason in the list of many testifying to the sheer brilliance of Google Maps.
Super Mario in 14kb Javascript
An intrepid coder over at nihilogic.dk has developed a Super Mario clone with just 14kb of Javascript.
This is a really interesting proof of concept; the size is particularly astounding (although it’s nowhere near a complete implementation).
