Congratulations, Kevin Rudd
Kevin Rudd, leader of the Australian Labour Party and former diplomat has won his country’s 2007 federal election with an estimated 87 seats, unseating his conservative rival John Howard.
He has been the favourite to win the elect for some time now, running on popular issues such as The War in Iraq, and a promise to (finally) ratify the Kyoto protocol.
Well done Mr. Rudd, and the best of luck in the future.
